Rob backs local law enforcement and wants laws that put families ahead of offenders. With fentanyl deaths climbing in Colorado, he believes the state's drug-possession laws need a serious second look.
From groceries to housing to utility bills, life here costs too much. Rob will push back on policies that drive up everyday costs and focus on making Colorado a place working families can still afford.
Rob has signed the front of a paycheck for hundreds of Coloradans. He knows how red tape and new mandates squeeze employers, and he'll fight for a climate where local businesses can grow and hire.
Rob believes government exists to protect individual liberty, not to keep expanding its reach. He'll work to keep government within its limits and accountable to the people who fund it.
Rob was raised in rural Wyoming, where his family has roots going back more than a century. Growing up there taught him to work hard and to face tough problems head-on. He came to Colorado for college, earning a finance degree from Colorado State University — and opened his first restaurant before he even graduated.
That first location grew into more than 50 restaurants launched across the region, supporting hundreds of local jobs. Rob later added an MBA from DePaul University. He and his wife, Paula, raised their three children in Northern Colorado, where they have made their home for more than two decades.
Rob represented Senate District 15 from 2019 to 2023, serving on the Legislative Audit Committee and the Business, Labor & Technology Committee. Off the job, he has mentored in local schools, coached youth sports and served on the Loveland Planning Commission.
